Taf Toys Hunny Bunny Stacker Review

Taf Toys are an award winning company that specialise in designing developmental infant toys that help create a smoother parenting experience with a stylish touch. They were founded in 1991 and their toys are now available to buy in over 35 countries. Taf Toys has established and continually reinforced a reputation for innovation, quality and originality and they have created five “Easier” categories for their toys where you find products that are designed to make the daily parenting experience even more enjoyable. The five categories are Easier Development, Easier Sleep, Easier Drive, Easier Outdoors and Easier Meals, I was thrilled when I received the Easier Development Hunny Bunny Stacker to review as I knew my 12 month old God daughter would enjoy playing with it.

The Taf Toys Easier Development Hunny Bunny Stacker is suitable from nine months, the description on the Taf Toys website describes it as a “colourful stacker toy with a friendly bunny character from their North Pole collection”. Having seen the toy, I would describe the colours as pastel rather than colourful but colours are just personal preference and don’t affect the toy in any way. The Hunny Bunny Stacker has four rings with a cute bunny head on the top, three of the rings have handles and the fourth one is clear plastic with coloured balls inside, this makes a great noise when shaken and was a favourite with my God daughter. The stacker toy is very tactile, the handles of the rings have different textures and are different sizes and the bunny has a fabric neck collar and fabric ears which my God daughter really enjoyed chewing! The rings are chunky and are perfect for little hands to grasp.

Stacking toys are great for a baby’s development as placing rings on the pole helps strengthen hand-eye co ordination and develops motor skills. Having different coloured rings helps develop cognitive abilities by learning to recognise different colours and sizes and by learning problem solving skills. We had great fun playing with the Hunny Bunny Stacker, putting the rings on the pole and chattering away about the different colours and of course making lots of noise with the ring with beads in! This toy will grow with your child, there are plenty of parts for babies to explore with their hands and mouths and toddlers will enjoy learning to stack the rings in the correct order, playing with the bunny and will also start to recognise colours.

Many toys these days come with a lot of unnecessary packaging so I was really pleased to see that the Hunny Bunny Stacker is packaged in an open fronted cardboard box. The cardboard box is made from recyclable material and can easily be recycled. There is plenty of information on the box about the toy and it also clearly states the recommended age on the box which is a big help for people buying the toy as a gift.

The Taf Toys Hunny Bunny Stacker is priced at £12.99 which I think is a great price for a toy that will give hours of fun.
