We have had a lot of Water Babies in the family over the years, and I have to say, this brand is by far the best we have used. Nothing else comes close. I’ve been fortunate enough to review a number of their products, and they never disappoint.
Our youngest granddaughter, who is nine months old, took to the water like a duck! She’s in and out of the water a few times a week, so I was very excited to see how she would get on with this. She loved it, and it goes everywhere with her now.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The Water Babies Cloudfish Soft Toy is adorably cute and a lovely choice for a little one who enjoys cuddly toys and loves the water. It has a really sweet appearance, with its fluffy, cloud-like body and colourful rainbow fins and tail, making it a lovely present for a baby or young child. Like my granddaughter, I can see it becoming one of those toys that little ones pick up for cuddles as well as playtime.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
The item is a Cloudfish soft toy, inspired by the Water Babies world of Cloudfish Cove. It’s a simple gift, but you don’t need lots of extras when the toy itself has plenty of colour and character.
DESIGN & STYLE
I love it! The rainbow fins and tail stand out against its soft, cloud-shaped body, giving it a fun, bright and cheerful appearance without being over the top. It’s really cute, friendly and inviting, which is exactly what you want from a cuddly toy for a little one. It would also fit perfectly in a nursery, just as much as it would be tucked up beside a child at bedtime.
QUALITY & DURABILITY
As a soft toy intended for little ones from birth, it’s designed with playtime, cuddles and small hands in mind. It’s the type of character a child could easily become attached to and want to take along on everyday adventures.
EASY SET UP & IMAGINATIVE PLAY
There is no setting up required, which is always a bonus when giving a present to a young child. Cloudfish is ready to join in straight away. Older children can invent their own adventures, whether playing at home or making up stories and games featuring Cloudfish.
ENCOURAGES SOCIAL SKILLS
Cuddly toys are wonderful companions for pretend play. Little ones can talk to Cloudfish, give it cuddles and pretend to look after it. These simple activities can help children practise kindness, caring and expressing their feelings.
DEVELOPMENT BENEFITS
Holding, hugging and exploring a soft toy gives little hands opportunities to practise grasping and coordination. Its bright colours and different shapes can encourage curiosity and sensory exploration as babies grow. If looked after carefully, Cloudfish could remain a favourite for years as your baby grows into a toddler and beyond.
EASE OF USE
There are no batteries, buttons or complicated features to worry about. It’s a straightforward cuddly companion that can be enjoyed at home, in the pram or while travelling.
CONVENIENCE & MAINTENANCE
Its soft-toy design makes it easy to take along on outings or keep close at bedtime. As my granddaughter takes hers everywhere, I can see how handy this could be for little ones who like having their favourite toy nearby.
