I am an absolute huge fan of any toy that encompasses sensory and interactive play. I find it is extremely important for any child’s development and as I have said before on other items I have reviewed Smyths Toys are very good at incorporating these the toys they stock.
I just want to point out that Smyth Toys are a supplier of the product, not the maker of it, that is Canal Toys and the link to their website is below:-

HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE SLIDES
Honestly, this was not easy, very fiddly and it was not very robust. The slide comes in 8 parts, 4 parts to each slide:-
2 x Slide
4 Legs
2 x Top of slide to place the snails.
1. I found the best way was to place the legs together first as they have a slot at the base of each of them where they slot into each other.
2. Get the slide part and attach it to the top part of the slide by clicking into place.
3. Place the slide with the top part attached to it, to the legs.
4. Place the bottom of each slide on to the tray.
I particularly love the colours this slime kit has to offer. Again they shout out vibrant, loud and bright and they really are a great way to keep any child engaged in the whilst playing. The colours are as follows:-
COLOURS
Green
Blue
Pink
Purple
Turquoise
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
This comes in a box where as mentioned above parts need to be put together. The array of amazingly beautiful are both bright and bold and could not wait to get started and give it a go. I have a 9 year old grandson who is autistic and this, like many other interactive toys, is great for sensory play, development and Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, also known as ASMR. This toy can help to calm and relax. His attention span increases along with some interaction with touch, feel and visual. It is amazing to watch him.
Get the snails and take the shell off, it is easy to come off. At the back of the snail is an opening to the inside of the shell, press either side of the shell to suck in the slime. This was fun, made some funny noises which my 9 year old Grandson loved. Once filled with slime, place the shell back on to the snail by placing the opening of the shell into the whole at the back of the snail and the press down. You are now ready to ‘SLIME’ LOL.
Place the snail at the top of the slide with its lid closed, then, release the lid and watch the snail slime down the slide, this was fun!
If you want to SLIME around with just the snail, press each side of the shell, move the snail around as you do this and watch it SLIME. Fun and giggles all round. There is a video where you can have a look, just click this link; https://youtu.be/Wx28s0eorCg
Once you get past the assembly part, this toy is really great fun. We had lots of laughter, giggles and belly chuckles and kept us busy for quite a while. Would make a perfect birthday gift, just because or stocking up early as a Christmas present.
TIP:- Once I stopped playing, I put the slime back into their bags and stored them in the fridge to keep them cool and they were just like new when we got them out to play with it again.

Rating: 4/5
Go for it, it is a great interactive and sensory toy that is guaranteed to get those little hands playing and having slimy fun! The reasons for not giving it 5/5 is because of the delivery packing and being quite fiddly to assemble the slides but do not let that put you off, it is great to play with.
