Scavengers is a sci-fi thriller about the crew of the Starship Revelator who roam the universe looking for space junk from interplanetary wars that may hold some value. After they stumble across a power source that becomes known as part of the Chaos Generator the fight begins to keep control of this awesome power.

A rival ship, captained by the evil Jekel, is determined to take the Chaos Generator and to use its power to destroy worlds while the crew of the Revelator have to stop them at all costs.

The battle to save the universe has now begun. Who will take control of the Chaos Generator and ultimately rule the universe.

Overall, I found this to be a very mediocre sci-fi thriller. While some of the effects and CGI are OK the storyline is rather slow and takes a while to get going, until crew member 12 explodes all over the room. Sean Patrick Flanery as Jekel overplayed his part to the point of not knowing whether to laugh at his evil character or cry.

Rating: 3/5
