Go2 Handgel Review

For many years I have always carried a small bottle of hand sanitizer in my handbag and had some in the car and found then especially useful when traveling, when the coronavirus started getting more prevalent and a bit of panic buying set in it was difficult to find any type of hand sanitizer at all in the shops and it was a case of just buying what ever brand you could find and in the last three months I have tried many different hand sanitizers of varying quality and consistency, some were not very pleasant to use having a very strong alcohol smell or leaving hands very dry.

Now these types of products are more readily available ,we have more choices and as we are going to be using a lot of hand sanitizer for a long time to come we should be more aware of the quality we are buying and be a bit more discerning.

Go 2 anti bacterial hand gel kills 99.999% of bacteria and contains tea tree oil which is nature’s antiseptic, it is quite a watery consistency which makes it easy to pour from the bottle, it dries very quickly and leaves hands a little sticky but this disappears in a few seconds.  There is not a strong alcohol smell even though it has a 70% alcohol content, the overriding smell is of tea tree oil which is a very clean smell and it didn’t dry my hands out at all.

The 100ml bottle that I was given to try was easy to handle and had a flip top lid for easy pouring, this would be the perfect size for a family or to have on your desk at work, because it is such a large bottle it make a very visible reminder to sanitizer your hands regularly and could also be used to refill small bottles. The bottle is recyclable and lasts for 12 months once opened.

The hand gel is also available in 100ml at £2.25, 500ml at £5.25 and an alcohol free one in 100ml at £2.25.  The hand gel can be ordered direct from thego2brand.com or available in Superdrug,Tesco,B&Q, Amazon Prime and National pharmacies.

Go2 is a British company and the product is manufactured in the UK , they also sell a selection of very innovative inhalersticks made with essential oils in energy, focus, becalm and sleep, I think I could use a few of these and at £3.99 each I’m definitely going to give them a try soon.

I have got to admit that before being asked to review this product I had not heard of the company Go2 so did some googling and found out a bit more , I was full of admiration for this small company who during this difficult time have donated lots of their essential oil sticks to NHS staff and Key Workers and moved a large percentage of their production to making hand gel when it was in short supply and again donation lots to the NHS , these are the kind of companies that we should all be supporting and never forget how they helped out.
