GBH is a British drama about a troubled police officer with a past in football violence.

Damien (Nick Nevern), a serving policeman, has grown up with his dad in prison and has anger management issues. Before joining the police force was involved with a gang and football violence.

GBH starts 1 month before the London Riots of 2011 and shows Damien doing favours for his old friends to get them out of trouble like speeding and assault.  He has a habit of taking the law into his own hands and dishing out his own brand of justice with violent beatings to criminals in his care that he takes a dislike too.

When the riots hit, his girlfriend and fellow police officer (Kellie Shirley) is attacked by one of his so called mates and this sees him go completely off the rails leading to his arrest.

Overall, GBH is a hard hitting drama about a rogue policeman who feels that the law is increasingly unable to deal with crime so he becomes judge and jury dealing the punishments himself in a violent and brutal fashion. A

A good storyline and worth watching.
