The Winter Sleepwalker by Joan Aiken Review

This wonderful book by Joan Aiken and Quentin Blake is packed with wonderful short stories and fairy tales, all of which I had never read.

The book has 8 stories in total and because they are short they make wonderful bedtime stories.

The stories were Over The Cloudy Mountains, Blazing Shadows, Melusina, A Basket Of Water, The Liquorice Tree, Furious Hill, The Winter Sleepwalker and Catch A Falling World.

The illustrations in this book are sublime and really help you to visualise each story and its characters.

I have a feeling this is going to be a firm favourite in this house.
