As long as I can remember I have always loved trying out shampoos, conditioner and other hair care products. I love to see how they feel, smell and the impact they have on my hair. So I was thrilled to be asked recently to review the Inecto Naturals Avocado Nourishing range from a brand called Inecto.  Inecto were a new brand to me so I started off by doing a bit of research. According to their website, Inecto are a British brand, specialising in natural products, inspired by nature. They ensure their items are cruelty free, vegan friendly and use organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. I was also very pleased to read that the items I reviewed were also paraben free which is important. However one of the most important factors to consider when choosing products also is their price point. These items are not only natural they have a really affordable price point, ensuring they are accessible to all.

I was reviewing the brand new Avocado Nourishing range of products and took time to use their shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and hair oil from this range. According to Inecto, avocado oil is known to moisturise hair and scalp, repair damaged hair, promote hair growth as well as adding shine. Reading these points, I couldn’t wait to try them all out. To be honest I could do with a little help in these areas!

The products came in very clean packaging. Base is all white, clean lines with a simple design, replicating their use of simple, natural products. On the front of the packaging you are shown the % of natural originals. The shampoo, for example, contains 95% natural origins and the conditioner a massive 98%. But enough about how it looked, how did it feel? There was a nice lather when I used the products. I did find I had to use a healthy amount of shampoo to get a decent foam, but this didn’t concern me as at the lower price point this wasn’t an issue and with natural products of all price ranges, this is usually the case in my experience. It doesn’t feel greasy, and the shampoo has a lovely aroma. The scent afterwards is long lasting and a real plus for this range of hair care.

I moved onto the conditioner and was similarly impressed. My hair felt soft and smooth almost immediately and smelled divine. With the conditioner I did feel a little went a long way. I was also able to experience the hair mask. One time I used it in place of the conditioner and another time I used it to complement. Both times I was left with super soft, manageable and beautifully fragranced hair. I felt as though it was easy to style, with no greasy residue and definitely believe it looked more nourished. The hair oil was a real perk. I am not usually a big hair oil user as my hair tends to get greasy quickly but this was perfect to use on my drier ends and I felt it worked really well to smooth out those on days where I wasn’t washing my hair.

I was really impressed with this range of products. So much so that I am going to track down the other ranges and give them a go too. As a purchaser of many hair care ranges I really do feel this holds it own against some of the brands with a much, much higher price point. With these products there is a feeling that you must pay more to get more but I believe this range shows that to be simply untrue. Available in all great beauty and health stores, I’d highly recommend giving them a try.
