Rivetz Dragon Sculpture Review
Rivetz Dragon
Extreme Card Sculpture

If you are creative or love construction toys then you will love Rivetz from Interplay.
I received Rivetz Dragon which is a kit that consists of a 30 piece flat packed cardboard dragon, a rivet gun and some rivets along with instructions on how to assemble the dragon.
With the Rivetz system you are able to assemble a 3D sculpture of a dragon that measures 65cm long and 25cm high (other designs are available).
I gave the Rivetz to my 11 year old niece who loves to creative toys and making things. Her first response was that it was a boy’s toy as it was a dragon but she happily took it. She laid out the pieces on the table and following the instructions started to assemble the dragon. The Rivetz system is very simple to use and if you make a mistake you can just undo it and try again without damaging anything.
After 2 days she had assembled this enormous 3D cardboard dragon and it looked specular and even my niece was impressed with this so called ‘boy’s toy’.
Once completed this dragon is very colourful and even has movable limbs due to the rivets.
Overall, for a flat packed cardboard toy that before starting my niece didn’t seem to too impressed but once completed she was over the moon. It is not quick to put together so provides plenty of play time and you have to think about what you are doing and have patience. With an RRP of £12.99 I think this is excellent value for money especially as if you want to you can disassemble without damaging to be used again, not that my niece has – she has proudly displayed on a shelf in her bedroom.
