I was very excited to receive a little bit of luxury in the guise of Ted Baker Midnight Bloom Shimmer Oil. The product arrives in a beautifully designed box, gold lettering and a gorgeous floral pattern. Inside lies a simplistic designed bottle.
The oil itself has a very delicate scent, notes of green tea, magnolia and winter flowering honeysuckle. I wasn’t expecting the oil to have a colour to it, but there is a tan hint to the oil. I am pale as pale can be but this year with lots of dog walking I have managed to colour on my face and upper body. I tell myself it is a healthy glow and not the fact that my freckles have just blended into one. How would this product turn me from pale and interesting to Ibiza pool party? The product is a light oil that absorbs easily but you do need to let it dry slightly before dressing fully. I managed to mark a swimsuit of mine directly after applying. When applying you do need to look and make sure you have no streaks, because of the colour it is easy to see and rubbing slightly more sorts any lines out simply.
My skin glowed, I could see the shimmer of gold glitter make my skin look youthful and healthy. This product is so easy to apply and because of the subtle scent is an ideal summer product. It is indulgent and luxurious without breaking the bank account, the packaging being high end class but the price is a reasonable £12 for the 150ml bottle. At the moment there are promotions available in Boots on the Ted Baker range.
I would recommend applying to legs, arms and décolletage area especially for a special evening out or as a subtle glow during the day but remember to let it dry and wash your hands or apply with a tanning mitt.
This product is not just for the youthful glamour pusses, it is ageless so go on treat yourself and bring a bit of glow into your life! You deserve it!
