Ted Baker Midnight Bloom Shimmer Body Souffle Review

Reviewed by Zoey Caldwell

I love a good beauty product and was very excited to get to try the Ted Baker Midnight Bloom Shimmer Body Souffle. I regularly use body scrubs and moisturise with  body butter rather than thinner moisturisers. I didn’t expect the souffle to have a tint to it but it has a light tan shade. The souffle is thick and screams luxury. The scent is light and not overbearing, ideal for summer evenings. The scent is a blend of white patchouli, raspberry and pear.

I applied the cream with my hands but it maybe better to use a tan mitt. It needs to be rubbed in carefully to avoid any streak lines. It is easy enough to correct by just rubbing in further. I would recommend that you wait a couple of minutes before dressing after applying to avoid any marks on your clothes. I am pale skinned naturally but have developed a slight tan over the summer on my upper body, the cream gave me a lovely glow. A golden glittery shimmer, instantly turning me from frumpy freckly Mum to a subtle festival diva. The shimmer that appears is subtle and you can see the gold glittery pieces on your skin in certain light and it is perfect for summer evenings, it makes your skin look youthful, healthy and makes you feel special

The souffle comes in a 300ml minimalist container and retails at £11 at Boots. Boots have a couple of promotions in the Ted Baker range at the moment.

The souffle even managed to make my pale white legs look healthier! That takes some doing believe me. My legs are just one of my YUK body parts but I felt slightly more comfortable exposing them just above the knee after using the product.

The product will make tanned legs look amazing whilst adding moisture to sun exposed skin.

The product is ageless, it is not just for the young. I would recommend the souffle if you want a little pamper and you want to feel extra special!
