Miss Saigon Returns To The Stage After 20 Years – Landing In Oxford This December – Preview

MISS SAIGON, the iconic musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg — makes its long-awaited return to Oxford for the first time since 2004, running from Tue 16 December 2025 to Sat 3 January 2026.

When Miss Saigon last visited Oxford, the production had to be significantly scaled down to fit the stage, meaning audiences were unable to experience the full spectacle the musical is famous for. This December, for the first time ever in Oxford, the show arrives with its complete staging — including the iconic helicopter.

The 2025/26 production features Seann Miley Moore (X Factor UK; Hedwig and the Angry Inch Australian Tour) reprising their celebrated role as The Engineer. Moore’s internationally acclaimed performances have spanned Australia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Singapore; their Australian tour dates were recognised with the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Performance in a Musical at the inaugural Time Out Sydney Arts & Culture Awards.

Joining the cast is Ace — the 20-year-old singer originally from Oxford — as Gigi. Ace rose to national prominence in 2024 when she reached the semi-finals of The Voice UK, joining the team of Sir Tom Jones after all four coaches turned for her blind audition.

Her growing visibility ultimately led to her appearance on The Voice UK Season 13, where she delivered a powerful blind audition performance of Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way.” All four coaches turned, and she joined Sir Tom Jones’ team, progressing all the way to the semifinals and becoming one of the season’s most talked-about emerging artists.

Born in Vietnam and raised in Hanoi and Hoi An before relocating to Oxfordshire, Ace brings a rich cultural background, heartfelt storytelling, and exceptional vocal ability to her work.

Ace is thrilled to be making her professional debut in Miss Saigon.

This production of Miss Saigon will bring Ace’s vocal power to the role of Gigi — adding emotional depth and local roots to this major musical event.

Oxford audiences can now experience the full, breathtaking scale of Miss Saigon, complete with the celebrated staging, sweeping set pieces, and the unforgettable helicopter scene — presented in Oxford for the very first time as originally intended.

Experience the magic, the music, and the drama of MISS SAIGON — back on the Oxford stage after more than 20 years.
