A relatively new product on the market but none the less definitely shouldn’t be disregarded.

As a sufferer of cold sores all year round this little tube is a life saver. Due to design of the tube (looks like a lip gloss once opened) it can be applied directly to the affected area. I made sure I gave it a good wipe after application though as I wouldn’t want to risk spreading to other areas of my mouth.

It looks white on your lip at first application but within a couple of minutes the liquid goes transparent and leaves a film over the cold sore. It doesn’t tingle on application but instead soothes the area. It was a bit sticky for about 5 minutes after application too which was a bit annoying but once it dried properly I hardly knew it was there.

One huge bonus for me was when going outside I hardly felt the cold against my lip. No nip or tingle at all and more importantly no scarf needed to protect my mouth. So in other words I loved it! I’ve used other kinds of patches and creams in the past and whilst some have helped this is by far the best protective barrier which makes the cold sore much less noticeable. I try to catch my cold sores at the tingly stage and it doesn’t always work but using this serum I felt confident after 2 days it was gone with little progression into a full blown blistering mess. Not that I’m looking forward to my next cold sore but it will be interesting to see if these great results continue. I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who suffers from cold sores and with a good price for most budgets a good investment.
