Fiesta Crafts Fairy Pendulum Clock Review

My 6 year old daughter is crazy about fairies and all things magical. She was delighted to recieve the Fairy Pendulum Clock from Fiesta Crafts as a new addition to her bedroom.

It arrived in a presentation box, unfortunately this was a little bashed but the clock was still in perfect condition, however not great if you are planning to gift to someone else, the outer packaging was a padded envelope, perhaps a box would have been better to protect the contents.

The item is made from wood and the main components feel sturdy enough, however the mechanism was delicate as to be expected with a pendulum design and required a bit of care. We had to be careful when hanging the clock to make the pendulum could sway freely but once it was up it looked great!

The clock takes 2x AA batteries which are not included, luckily we had some in so we could try it out right away. 

My daughter loved it and wasted no time in telling us where in her room she wanted it hung. She is not yet able to confidently tell the time but has started taking an interest so this was well timed. 

The face of the clock has clear easy to read numbers so I was pleased this was a perfect first clock for our girls bedroom. It’s also worth noting that the clock is nice and quiet so no disruption to sleep which is important. The recommended age is 3-10 years.

The clock itself is a fun cartoon fairy in a pink dress with purple wings, it measures approximately 29cm x 22cm, the pendulum part is the wings that sway side to side, this is very sweet and gives the illusion that the fairy’s wings are flapping. It’s perfect for any girly bedroom.

I had not heard of Fiesta Crafts before so I was curious to look at their website to see what other fun items they had in store. There is a nice selection of kids craft kits all in different mediums as well as non craft items such as the clock itself, toys, puppets and wall hangings. If you are looking for a kids gift it’s well worth checking out not in the least because of the affordability.

The clock itself is new this year and is selling from the website for £16.99. This is a reasonable cost and the quality speaks for itself. Fiesta Crafts also sell a pirate pendulum clock which also looks brilliant.

I would recommend this as a unique gift for any little girl or boy who is into fairies. A great present that they are definitely not going to already have. 

I would definitely order from Fiesta Crafts in the future, in fact I already have a few items in my online basket ready for Christmas and delivery is free over £25 so that’s a good excuse to add a few more things!
