Play at Brewers Fayre Manchester Review

We have been to the play area with the Brewers Fayre Coach House Trafford Centre, Manchester many of times and it has been due for a face lift for quite awhile, so when we heard it had a makeover we couldn’t wait to see what it was like.

When my family and I arrived the children were so excited to see what the new play area looked like especially when we were told it was now a Dennis the Menace theme. I have 2 Dennis fans in my sons (aged 2 and 5) and I think my daughter (10) is a secret fan too. We were shown to the play area and wow what a difference from the minute you set foot through the newly painted black and red doors you could see the new modern and smart décor. The old carpet had been replaced with lovely clean flooring, the toy machines that were blocking the doorway had now made way for lots more tables and chairs allowing families to eat within the play area which is a god send when you can’t prise the little monkeys away from the slide.

The play area itself had a bit of a spruce up the toddler area now has some much needed TLC and rather than just a few soft play bricks it now had a slide, funny mirror and lots of fun toys. The larger play frame was the same but had a little face lift with new mats and a funky carpet which my boys now want in their room. For me the biggest improvement was in their party room now known as ‘The Den’ what was once a drab room with some tables set up like school dinners was now a funky bright colour room with large Dennis the Menace print complete with big red bean bags and a giant screen TV, and the tables were set up in a nice big square so that all the children can see each other. They offer a great party package for £8.99 per child which includes food, drinks, invites, party bag and birthday cake as well as a play on the play frame and different activities throughout the week to keep the kids entertained from arts and craft to a disco on a Friday night. The admission price is £3 for a 90 minute play.

The staff were happy and helpful and eager to help. We can’t wait to go back and don’t think it will be long until we do.
