I was asked to write a review for the MooGoo Lip Balm Pucker Pack. I am very careful what skin products I choose to review due to having sensitive skin and the need to avoid flare ups. After looking at the MooGoo website and seeing they specialise and care about skin sensitivity I thought I would test the lip balms to the test.
The MooGoo organisation is based in Australia. It was founded in 2005 and has a cute story behind its formation. Basically, it all started when the head of the organisation saw his dear mother applying rich paste which they use on cows utters to prevent cracks and dryness on her own body. The paste was thick and extremely hard to apply so this is the point where it all started. Kindness and family are an amazing thing in many ways.
Package
The lip balms are neatly contained within a very stylish colourful neat tin to avoid losing them in your handbag’s ladies!!! You can always slip one out of the tin and pop it into your coat or jeans pocket if you are not taking a bag out. They are so versatile and take up no space at all so you can take them everywhere and anywhere. I love things like this and there is no excuse to not apply when you are out walking on cold frosty mornings or windy wet days etc.
The Product
These lip balms definitely keep ladies’ beautiful lips luscious soft and silky smooth. During harsh cold days they assist in preventing those nasty cracks, which as we all know can become painful and bleed from time to time. not only is this unpleasant it is not a good look either. I myself tend to always get a crack split appear on my lip (centre bottom lip) during the winter months and normally combat with basic products such as a Nivea lip balm. I have found from testing and trialling MooGoo lip balms that they are of better quality than your basic standard off the shelf lip balms. The consistency of them is smooth, thick and far more hydrating yet not greasy – how can that be!!!! The lip balm products come in a lipstick style design with clicking tops which you wind up as you use. The balm stick itself is of hard texture so does not fall the pieces when applying. They even taste great too. They even smell good and will make your mouth water.
The Lip Balm Pucker Pack (tin) consists of five different flavoured balms, Tangling Honey, Natural Cow Lick, Vanilla Dream, Strawberry Tinted and Coconut. The tinted balm leaves a fabulous colour to the lips. The lip balms are all made from natural products. Everything contained within the lip balms is completely edible without any nasty harmful ingredients. They are packed with nourishing oils to create totally kissable lips. Suitable for all ages and genders.
Products
Enclosed with the lips balms was a brochure informing of the other products produced and available by MooGoo. I have had a flick though the brochure and was pleasantly surprised to see such reasonably, wide selection and high-quality products contained in the simple yet informative brochure. Such a small brochure yet packed with useful information. I will almost certainly be trying other products from the range.
Delivery
Delivery of the lip balms was fast and efficient, and they were packed extremely well. My package also included a cute postcard with a personal message. Such a kind thoughtful touch/gesture.
Pricing
The Lip Balm Pucker Pack is reasonably priced for such a high-end products at £16.50 for five. These can however be purchased individually at £3.90.
There’s is just one final thing to add to my review and that is the lip balm tin makes a very unique
yet useful Christmas gift for every individual.
