The LuXe lips range comes in 5 shades………
Material Girl… is a deep vibrant pink shade and really makes the lips pop. This shade would be good for a night out but unless you are super confident it could be a bit bright for day wear.
Beauty Queen… This one is my favourite shade as it goes on to the lips as a natural nude shade. With just a hint of colour with lots of shine this colour made my lips appear fuller.
Uptown Girl… is a bright orange shade although it does become more subtle once applied to the lips. A great summer shade that would look fabulous with a tan.
It Girl… a vibrant girly pink shade that is a lovely summer shade. I found on application this shade was too pink for me but once rubbed in a little, I loved the colour as it looked natural on my lips.
Duchess… A lovely deep coral shade that left a nice subtle coral shine on my lips. This shade would look beautiful with a tan.
I liked the packaging as it was funky and modern and the glosses are small enough to fit inside a clutch bag. The glosses come with a small brush as the applicator which I really liked as I could be more precise when applying the product to my lips than with a sponge applicator.
I found the glosses to be a bit gloopy and sticky and my hair would stick to my lips during a breeze. I found that once applied to the lips if I used my finger to rub the gloss in, this made it become less sticky and gloopy. I usually find glosses slide off my lips too quickly but this gloss had very good staying power.
I give these glosses 4 out 5 stars… mainly for the pretty shades.
