Mademoiselle Chambon Review
Mademoiselle Chambon
Reviewed by Samantha MacKenzie
A beautiful subtle film of forbidden romance. A regular family whose life changes when the boy's school teacher meets the boy's father. The chemistry builds as they decide to spend time together.
It really pulls you, the romantic side of you sees the spark between them, but you know he's married and it is all forbidden.
Lots of "will they, won't they" moments to keep you gripped. It is a strong contrast to the big Hollywood glamorous romances. The film is beautifully shot, very understandable why it won lots of awards.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of subtitles, but it was worth the reading effort!!
