Embryolisse for Men Review

The days of women using lots of makeup and beauty products and men using nothing are long gone. For several years now, it has been commonplace for men to use skin products to preserve their youth and look after their skin as much as women do.

With Father’s Day next month, what could be a better treat for a dad who spends all his money on the kids and not himself, than some lovely good quality high end toiletries?

Embryolisse have been producing skin care products since 1950. Created by a Parisian doctor who specialised in dermatology, the Lait Crème Concentre was the first product to be launched. By 2007, this product had sold over 10,000,000 tubes! Since their launch in 1950, they have added many more skin products to their highly respected range and continue to sell them successfully today.

The best thing about these products is that although they are incredibly good and safe for you to use, the price remains reasonable.

Embryolisse for men is a range launched specifically for the men in your life. The Gel Douche Energisant or shower gel as it is commonly called in my house comes in an elegantly designed but masculine looking packaging. It is sold in a 200ml tube retailing at around £19. The gel is clear in colour as it has no artificial colourings and has a lovely slippery but not tacky feel to it. You do not need to use much as it lathers nicely under the shower. The fragrance is by no means overpowering and has a subtle but manly smell to it. Once washed off, it leaves a lovely smooth feel to your skin.

You may not choose to use this product everyday if you feel that the price is too much, but for a treat or to use a couple of times a week knowing that it is good for your skin makes it a lovely gift for Father’s Day. My dad is usually a cheap shower gel man but having been given this product to try and test, I think I have successfully converted him to the idea of spending a bit more and getting a lovely quality product to use. I know what I will be buying for Christmas and birthdays for the next few years!

It would be inappropriate to perform an Embryolisse review without trialling their famous Lait-Crème Concentre! Their first product to be launched in 1950 as still going strong in 2019, this has to count for something doesn’t it?

Since its launch, it has become a must have product for many make up artists and ladies / men around the world. This is probably in part due to the fact that it is used for so many different reasons. It is marketed as a 3 in one moisturising lotion, primer and make up remover. It can be used as a repairing mask, a skin cleanser or as a baby care product. It is suitable for men, women and children and will keep anybody’s face feeling beautiful and soft. Not only is it suitable for use by everybody, it is also suitable for all skin types. With their mountains of experience and cutting-edge technology, it is not surprising that Embryolisse have achieved such worldwide recognition for their skin care products.

The Lait-Crème Concentre comes in a 30ml tube retailing at around £13 or a 75ml tube retailing around £20. The packaging design is similar to their men’s products only the background colour is a neutral white instead of the men’s masculine blue.

The crème is white as you would expect and has a more perfume like smell than the masculine men’s range of products. However, it is still a subtle inoffensive smell that is really quite pleasant.

It rubs into the skin beautifully and you really do not need to use much at all. Once rubbed in, it leaves your skin feeling stunning and youthful.

I think the reputation Embryolisse has built up over the past 69 years speaks for itself really but to add my humble opinion to an extremely successful brand, I would say the products were a must have to all make up bags, particularly the younger ladies who are starting to wear make-up. Let’s try and keep their skin as youthful and beautiful as we can!
