Creative Nature Cacao Rich Chocolate Cake Baking Mix and Protein Gnawbles Review

Having three young children in my house, I’m constantly looking out for food and treats that are as healthy as they can be. So my family and I were extremely impressed by this value for money chocolate cake mix from Creative Nature. This mix is really Incredibly tasty and moist, fail safe and so simple and easy to make!

My 6 year old daughter helped me to whip up this beauty in no time at all and, with three cake-loving  kids in the family, it didn’t last very long either! This 300 gram, easy to open packet of cake mix only requires 250ml milk (any you like) and 110ml oil (again, your favourite) to be added and voila, ready for the oven! Even better – this mix is totally safe from Gluten, Dairy, Wheat and Nuts which you wouldn’t be able to tell unless you read the packet information which is fabulous as very often, something this “safe and free” taste nothing like the product they say it does.

Once it had quickly baked and cooked, leaving my entire house smelling like chocolate heaven, we used buttercream (with dairy free marg) in between the layers and used another product from Creative Nature, Gnawbles to decorate our chocolate creation. Super Salted Caramel and Brilliant Orange Protein Gnawbles are crispy nibbles of pea protein coated in Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate and Brilliant Orange are deliciously more-ish. They are also Free From all top 14 allergens, making them suitable for vegans and allergy sufferers! With 43% less sugar than the market leading brand, you can enjoy your favourite snack without having to worry about eating too much sugar! Gnawbles is so environmental friendly, it contains no ingredients such as dairy and palm oil, and the packaging is fully recyclable!

Gnawbles Ingredients:

Dark Chocolate (60%)(Sugar, Cocoa mass, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifier: Sunflower Lecithin, Natural Flavouring), Protein Puffs (40%)(Pea Protein Isolate, Potato Flakes, Potato Starch, Sugar, Salt), Glazing Agents (Gum Arabic, Zein (Maize Protein)), Salt. Dark Chocolate contains 50% cocoa solids.

Cake Mix Information

Ingredients: Brown Rice Flour, Unrefined Cane Sugar, Cacao Powder (14%), Psyllium Husk, Baking Powder (Mono Calcium Phosphate, Corn Starch, Sodium Bicarbonates), Himalayan Crystal Salt

Allergy Information: Product packed in an environment free from Gluten, Tree Nuts, Peanuts and Sesame.

Storage: Store mix in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Once baked, it can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
