Who doesn’t love a surprise? That’s exactly what you get with the Creamy Deco Baby Series! There are 12 characters to collect, and my granddaughter and I couldn’t wait to open our 4 boxes. With Christmas just around the corner, this is a lovely idea for anyone who enjoys building bricks and festive decorations, it also make a perfect Christmas gift and stocking filler.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
These little dolls are adorable, with bright, vibrant colours that really stand out. Each comes in its own box and is securely packaged in sealed bags. The cheerful presentation makes them appealing to children who love collectables and creative toys.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
One surprise baby character
One decorating cream
Charms, sprinkles and accessories

DESIGN AND STYLE
The big eyes, cute expressions and tiny details give each character plenty of personality. The sweet dessert theme works beautifully with the decorative icing, while the little charms and sparkly accessories complete their playful look.

QUALITY AND DURABILITY
The characters feel sturdy and well made, whether displayed on a shelf or used as bag clips. The decorative accessories are small, so care is needed when applying them, but the finished designs look lovely.

EASY SET-UP AND IMAGINATIVE PLAY
This is an exciting a fun activity for children who enjoy being creative. Instead of just simply receiving another figure, they can decorate their own and choose how it looks. There’s plenty of opportunity to experiment, although patience is needed while the decoration sets.

ENCOURAGES SOCIAL SKILLS
Decorating together gives children the chance to share, as well as share ideas and suggestions, compare designs and enjoy the same interests. The surprise element also makes opening the boxes exciting.

DEVELOPMENTAL BENEFITS
Cognitive skills: Encourages imagination and decision-making
Focus and attention: Helps develop concentration and patience
Mathematical thinking: Sorting and counting accessories supports early counting skills
Creativity: Inspires original designs and imaginative storytelling

EASE OF USE
Decorating the dolls are very easy and straightforward. The accessories allow children to personalise their character before attaching it to a favourite bag or backpack. Taking care with the smaller details helps achieve a lovely finished design.

CONVENIENCE AND MAINTENANCE
The clip that comes attached to the character make it very easy to take anywhere. An occasional gentle wipe help keep it clean, while careful handling helps protect the decorations from damage.

THE DECORATING EXPERIENCE
This is my favourite part! The cream genuinely resembles piped icing on cakes and desserts. Each doll sits on a little stand, keeping it stable during decorating. Once finished, it can be displayed on a shelf or bedside cabinet, giving children something special to admire that they have created themselves.

COLLECTABILITY
With 12 characters to collect, the mystery makes every box exciting. Duplicates are possible, but they can be decorated differently or swapped with friends, making collecting even more enjoyable.

VALUE FOR MONEY
At £4.99 each at the time of writing, reduced from £6.99, I think these offer good value. You get a surprise character and a creative activity rather than just an ordinary bag clip.

GOOD TO KNOW
Batteries needed: No.

AGE
Suitable for ages 6 and over.
