Aldi School Uniform Review

I was delighted to receive some ALDI school uniform items to review (in stores from 23 July 2015). I was sent a pack of 2 red girl’s knitted cardigans, some grey girl’s school trousers, some white girl’s ankle socks, girl’s briefs, a PE skort (a cross between a skirt and shorts) and a pack of 2 unisex white round neck t-shirts.

The cardigans are very well made and have a very pretty edge where they button up. The material is very soft and they are warm. My daughter really likes them.

The grey school trousers are stylish with hooks to fasten. They also have an adjustable waistband. They are very well made and the material feels soft.

Both the trousers and cardigans have a useful name label and can be washed at 40 degrees.

The socks and briefs are great and can also be washed at 40 degrees. I love the design on the briefs and the fact that you get 5 different colours. The trim on the socks in very pretty.

The final two items I was sent were the black PE skort and pack of 2 white unisex round neck t-shirts. The skort is great. It has a comfort waistband and the shorts underneath are hidden. As with the cardigan and trousers, there is a handy name label. The t-shirts are well made and look great on.

I am delighted with these prices as I worry about affording her school uniform and this year I need to buy it for her almost 3 year old twin brothers too, as they are starting nursery. The one suggestion I would make would be to make the range from 3 years old, not 4 years old so that nursery school children are also catered for.

All of the items look smart and are well made. I would definitely recommend this range of items.
