Doug Harris (Josh Gad) is getting married to the girl of his dreams, Gretchen (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), but the problem is that he doesn’t really have any friends so 10 days before the wedding he still has no best man or groomsmen.

Doug is referred to Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) who is owner of TBM Inc. (The Best Man Inc.) who for a price will be the best man at a wedding. As Doug needs 7 groomsmen he wants a package that has never been attempted before , The Golden Tux, as too much can go wrong.

Jimmy agrees to take the job and assembles a misfit bunch of groomsmen to be Doug’s friends and groomsmen. What can go wrong?

Overall The Wedding Ringer is a hilarious comedy. The story is great and I’m sure there must be plenty of grooms out there that could do with hiring a professional best man. With oddball groomsmen, accidentally setting the bride’s granny on fire and after being kidnapped for his stag night and ending up with a dead dog attached to his intimate parts it will have you laughing from start to finish.

I’m not a big fan of Kevin Hart, I don’t find him particularly funny, but the casting of The Wedding Ringer is excellent making his performance and interaction with Josh Gad extremely funny.

With a guest appearance by Whitney Cummings as a bridesmaid singing an embarrassing an awkward wedding song is great.

An excellent comedy that is more about the developing bromance between Kevin Hart and Josh Gad than wedding itself.
