Simba Hybrid Essential Mattress Topper Review
I was lucky enough to be asked to review the Simba Hybrid Essential Mattress Topper and all I can say is it is life changing! I have found it to be an amazing product. I have a slipped disc in my back and struggle with sleeping because of this, but since I have had the Simba Hybrid mattress topper, I have had amazing nights sleep, where I have slept all through the night and have woken up feeling rested and comfortable.
The mattress topper was delivered quickly, their website quotes a 3-5 carbon neutral delivery and came in a large upright box, which folds down quite easily for recycling. The mattress topper was securely wrapped in layers of plastic to bind it together and in a large plastic bag to seal it. Once this was all removed, the mattress topper was easily unrolled on top of my mattress. It is recommended that you leave it for a few hours after which, you can easily attach it to your own mattress with the large bands of elastic that fit snugly and securely around the corners of your own mattress and if you want to put it onto another mattress or store it away, the mattress topper easily rolls up for moving and storing. The cover of the mattress topper is also washable, but a mattress protector is recommended to be used as well.
The mattress topper comes in a variety of sizes for all mattress types.
Sizes:
UK single W90 x L190 x D7 (cm)
UK small double W120 x L190 x D7 (cm)
UK double W135 x L190 x D7 (cm)
UK king W150 x L200 x D7 (cm)
UK super king W180 x L200 x D7 (cm)
According to the website, and I quote ‘Give your mattress an instant makeover with our Hybrid® Essential Topper. It’s a comforting slice of Simba’s ingenious mattress tech, with up to 1,500 of our patented Aerocoil® springs to keep you perfectly supported, and a layer of Simbatex® foam to keep you cushioned and cool. Includes removable/washable cover.
They also have many other products in their range, including pillows, duvets and mattresses, which are available on their website.
Also, according to their website, and I quote ‘Shopping with Simba is stress-free, thanks to free delivery and returns, a 200 night risk-free trial and a 10 year guarantee’.
The mattress topper is quite pricey, but I love mine and am thinking of purchasing another one for the other bed in my house as it is just so good. I have never been more comfortable or warm and cosy in my bed as I have been for the past few nights.
The only downside I would mention is the strange smell to it. It’s not a horrible smell, more of a foam smell, but it is noticeable in the bedroom, but with a spray of Febreze I hope this will diminish.
If you are looking to update your mattress and cannot afford a new mattress, I would highly recommend this product, even though it is quite pricey, I think it is worth the investment now for years of comfort. Even better if you can get it as a Christmas present either for yourself or for someone else. It would make a great gift.
Rating: I highly recommend this product and give it 5/5 stars.
