Nightmares by Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller Review

Reviewed by Linzie Wardle

Charlie Laird is a unique boy who doesn’t like his stepmother and suffers from dreams most nights. Since moving into the sinister purple mansion in Cyprus Creek he can’t sleep as a witch (stepmother) haunts his dreams and the dreams turn into nightmares. But what if his nightmares are real?

Charlie turns to his friends for help and eventually gets the courage to face up to his nightmares.

Despite being an adult I have actually loved reading this book, I haven’t read any of Jason Segel/Kirsten Millers books before so I shall definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for future releases.

Go to sleep if you dare…

A very enjoyable read.

The book is well recommended for children aged 8 years + who love suspense, humour and thrills.
