The WOW Toys arrived and were boxed and very presentable. We received ‘My Pocket Friends’, ‘Pet Patrol Peggy’ and ‘Rapid Response Rick’ which are all part of the RSPCA range.
‘My Pocket Friends’ is a little pack that includes 1 of 6 toy animals and an activity booklet where you can colour and do different puzzles. This is aged suitable for 1 year +.
‘Pet Patrol Peggy’ is a motorised push and go car, that doesn’t require any batteries. It comes with a lady figurine called Amanda, a dog called Colin and a removable puppy bed. This is aged suitable for 1 and a half to 5 years.
‘Rapid Response Rick’ is a quad style car with a fun rocking action. This toy doesn’t require any batteries. Also included is a male figurine called Robin and a cat called Ginger. This toy is suitable for ages 1 and a half to 5 years.
‘Pet Patrol Peggy’ and Rapid Response Rick’ come in cardboard boxed with a plastic window display. The boxes contains information on them about how to look after your pets, explaining about their environment, diet, behaviour, company and health and welfare. It also has information on how to join RSPCA Animal Action Club.
As soon as they were opened, my 4 year daughter was doing role play rescue with them all and loved pushing the cars around to rescue the animals. My 19 month old son also loved them, he loves anything on wheels so was in his element. One of the cars is mechanical so if you push and let go it keeps driving forward, this has resulted in the car bumping into hard furniture and no damage is caused to either the car or the furniture. The character figurines are designed to always keep their thumbs up and on the box it’s explained that they ‘super safe and are proven to never pose a choking hazard’, however I’m very wary to leave my 19 month old unsupervised with them as he does like to put things in his mouth. My 4 year old completed the activity booklet and found it very enjoyable, I think this is more suitable for children aged 2 years+.
I would definitely recommend these products and would purchase for ourselves or others. I especially like that as they are RSPCA cars then each one brought helps RSPCA animals. They suit all ages stated, both girls and boys, and have kept my two children entertained for hours.
