Beyond The Rainbow
The Shed, Glasgow

On arrival at The Shed we were met by a lovely lady who informed us that the box office would be opening within minutes. We received our tickets and I proceeded to walk up the stairs as my Mum was taking the lift, as she walks with a stick.
We arrived in a big blue room which on talking to the woman in front of us we found out it was called the Blue Ballroom. She was full of the history of the building and told us she had been in a few shows there.
The show started and out came Noreen Boyle who was playing the part of Judy Garland. All sparkly and she started singing straight away. What an amazing voice.
The story of Judy Garland’s rise to fame and her ultimate demise were wonderfully portrayed in this wonderful one woman show.
You could feel everyone around you miming along to the songs that were being sung.
An excellent show and I hope to be able to attend more as we were made to feel so welcome and even had people helping us as to whether our car was parked in a pay and display zone.
Excellent staff. Lovely venue and fantastic show. A definite 5/5 from me.
