Aftershave is traditionally used to reduce itching, close pores, and heal small cuts after shaving; it also adds a nice smell.
I like to consider myself well groomed. In fact, my wife says I spend more time in the bathroom than she does, and I think she’s right. I don’t always use aftershave because I don’t always shave, often going for a more rugged look (or so I like to think), but a splash of aftershave is a treat for the skin. When I do use it, I find it adds a refined finish to end my routine and, in my head, I look the part and smell the part.
I have been asked to review Rock Face Original Scent aftershave.
A dark, sultry glass bottle. The writing on it is easy to read but very subtle. It is a nice chunky size, which is easy to hold and fits well into my hand. The top is very easy to remove; it’s not a screw-on, it just has to be pulled off, but it is still a tight enough fit and wouldn’t fall off. It’s a spray bottle with a good, even spray and holds 50ml of product, so it will last a while.
The smell is described on the bottle as fresh, citrus, and musk. I can smell zesty lemon, refreshing bergamot, rich sandalwood, with a very faint hint of fruity apple, all expertly blended to make a subtle, warm, refreshing scent that would work for any occasion.
I can also see it being suitable for many ages. I love it, and my grandson also loved it and has been having a squirt of it every time he visits. I have suggested he gets some for his dad for his birthday as I think he would also like it.
This looks and smells like a quality product made by an independent British company who have worked with some of the world’s leading fragrance suppliers to create this piece of affordable luxury.
I was so impressed with it that I’ve already ordered a matching deodorant.
