The product
The House of Cards Magic Shop Large Square Scarf as the website says is ‘’meowgical’’!
This viscose scarf looks fab with their magician cat character at the centre, a playing cards border, and triple tassel detail in each corner.
Measuring 100cms x 100cms you could use in many ways: as a scarf, as a shawl, as a head wrap or even wrapped around a big bag handle.
It could add a final touch to your autumn/winter outfits, and add a hint of colour to them, giving you an interesting addition for any occasion.
This would make a lovely gift for someone who is a card player, cat lover or perhaps both. I’d say this is a great bit of fun, and over all a nice product. If I was looking for something in these colours, or these themes I would buy this scarf as a treat to me!
The item is 100% viscose, suitable for a hand wash only. Don’t tumble dry or bleach, iron on a low heat and do not dry clean.
Value for money I’d say it’s about right. The quality feels good, the scarf is nice and soft, I wasn’t expecting that being viscose. The images on the website are accurate and I’d imagine if you look after this scarf, it will easily last you well.
Packaging
If I was gifting this I would do so in the box it arrived in, with the tissue it was wrapped in. What a treat it was to receive a nice product wrapped and packed so well and in pretty packaging which immediately says” something nice is inside here!”
The scarf arrived in perfect condition.
The only comment I would make on packaging is perhaps about the sealing of the box. There was tape in all the right places, which I could not peel off. This meant I had to use a knife to poke through to the folded openings. This kept the box in good condition, although I was concerned, I may damage the scarf inside – I didn’t, a combination of I was careful and there was the extra wrapping inside.
I don’t know how much of the packaging is or could be recycled.
If you are paying for delivery, then it is free Royal Mail 48Hr tracked if you spend over £60 and under 2kg. They dispatch the same day Mon – Fri if you order before noon. Alternatively, you’ll pay upwards of £3 depending on which delivery option you choose.

THE GABRIEL’S WHARF STORE
The South Bank store is situated in Gabriel’s Wharf, a wonderful little artisan area full of independent shops. The nearest Underground and National Rail station is Waterloo. There are 11 outlets in Italy including several in Rome and Milan.
ETHICS: VENDULA LONDON IS VEGAN
The main material used for the production of their bags and wallets is Vegan leather, which feels just like real leather but is animal cruelty free.
Every season, their products are tested and certified by the Vegetarian Society and they are proud to be a Vegan Approved company.
Although not setting out to be a Vegan brand they started using non-animal leathers simply because they wanted to make super strong bags that could withstand everything, we do to them.
Each of their bags is printed, embossed, appliquéd and embroidered, so the fabrics used need to be as hard wearing as these processes are.
