Tom’s Midnight Garden is based on the children’s novel. 14-year old Tom is sent away to his aunt and uncle’s flat to avoid catching measles from his brother. However, there are no other children living there and no garden so Tom is feeling sad and alone. One night, Tom hears the grandfather clock strike 13. His curiosity gets the better of him and he goes to the back door and is transported to a beautiful, magical garden from the past. In this magical garden, he befriends Hattie, a little girl, who is the only person who can see him. They have lots of adventures together.  The film has a surprising ending and one that you wouldn’t expect.

It’s a perfect family movie to watch with your children! Defiantly bought back memories from the book from my childhood.
