The Tale of Georgie Grub by Jeanne Willis Review

What a great book! It’s slightly bigger than most children’s books but this is definitely a plus, it makes the pictures much easier for young children to see. I also liked the fact that the book is a hardback, making it easy to clean. Both my sons really enjoyed the story line and the rhyming words, it made them smile and both were very enthusiastic to read the story a 2^nd time! The story follows a dirty little boy called Georgie who won’t take a bath and is very smelly! In the end he has to sleep outside with the rubbish because his mum doesn’t want him in the house!

A very funny and enjoyable book with an amusing ending.

My boys give this book 5 out of 5.
