The Choir of Man has arrived at Milton Keynes Theatre, which is very accessible with plenty of parking in the vicinity along with numerous bars and restaurants along with its own on site facilities. We couldn’t be more excited to see how this show travels with its own on stage pub along with pints of lager. We have been privileged to see the show previously at the Arts Theatre in London and couldn’t wait to see how this award winning show works outside of its original UK home.

We have eagerly been awaiting the arrival of this West End show which is on its first UK. This show is for sure one of a kind, you are welcome to go on stage before the show starts and at the interval, its stars mingling with not just those brave enough to buy a pint on stage but with the audience too.

I don’t think I can begin to explain not just how good this show is, how outstanding the guys are at singing, the sense of family not just on stage but extended to the audience, the whole experience is just pure joy.

The Choir of Man are nine wonderfully charismatic guys, inviting you into their pub, ‘The Jungle’. They all have a nickname, Beast, Barman, Joker, Maestro, Poet, Bore, Handyman, Hard man and Romantic. Throughout the show, they all reveal their background their story, their wonderful voices.

It’s a varied set list full of either rip roaring tunes, foot stomping blockbusters, or heart pulling ballads. These guys have stolen my heart. They interact with the audience throughout the show, but in a genuine heartfelt way. Sharing free pints throughout the show with the audience and themselves, what’s not to like!

At times, you could hear a pin drop, they held the hearts of the audience in their hands. There wasn’t a song you didn’t know, they belted out hits from Adele, Queen, Guns and Roses, and many many more, then a beautiful rendition of Luther Vandross’s Dance With My Father. They had the audience in the palm of their hands from the start. These guys sang and danced theirs hearts out, from start to finish they performed brilliantly, their talent knows no bounds.

This has to be my very favourite show ever, it has heart and soul, makes the audience feel so very part of every minute, their harmonies are like no others you have heard on stage. To say we were blown away by the 150 strong choir who joined them in their final song is an understatement. What an amazing night of entertainment, performances that will live long in your heart. You won’t ever see anything like this, grab a ticket and join the Choir of Man while you can, they are in Milton Keynes until Saturday. What a night, what a show!

The show is two hours five minutes long including the interval, under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
