Ella Saves Christmas Review

Reviewed by Emma Baker and Madison (Age 7)

I loved this book, because it is nearly Christmas and that’s what the book is about. It has lovely colourful pictures.

It’s about a little girl who gets taken by Santa’s elf’s to help them sort out who gets what present as their computer has broken, and Ella notices the sack of letters the children have sent to Santa, so they go through all the letters to see who has asked for what, so everyone has a good Christmas. Ella even gets to have a ride on Santa’s sleigh.

It’s really good that you can have your name put in the book and I hope I get one with mine.

I would tell my friends all about this book.

I read this book to both of my children aged 2 and 7, and they loved it, helped us all get into the Christmas spirit. It is a lovely uplifting story about a little girl who helps saves Christmas by solving the terrible problem of who gets what present when Santa’s computer breaks down, what a relief it was to find the huge sacks of letters that the children have written to Santa.

It is lovely illustrated with brightly coloured informative pictures, so that even if your child can yet read they can still tell what is going on in the page.

It would make a lovely personalised present for any child.
