On opening Daisy the Bunny I was surprised to see that it actually looks so much bigger than its advertised twelve inches and it is possibly the softest soft toy I have ever held. At £12.99 this is a real bargain, The detailing and quality is beautiful with velvet type material inside it’s ears and embroidered facial features so no worry of bits being swallowed if given to a baby. I love the tag that says “I’m Daisy, I’m your new friend”. Daisy is part of the Make a friend mini family collection. I have fallen in love with her already. A baby would love this but I feel this would be one of those furries that a child keeps throughout their childhood. There is a whole range of the Make a friend collection including a red panda, penguins, lambs. Papybaras, cows and cats, all in different colours and sizes. They would make a fabulous gift for a newborn. All the plush ranges state they are hand washable but as they are pretty much 100% polyester I’d probably take a chance and put it in the machine on a gentle wash.

I have actually visited one of their stores and even from the outside it is a magnet for children, especially little girls with its bright pink facias and enticing window display products they really could spend a whole day here. They offer seasonal in-store activities such as spin the wheel, competitions, festive and Easter Egg hunts so a real playground. The store boasts an array of soft toys, snacks, kids make up, hair accessories, bags, stationery and loads of collectables, including iconic brands like Sanrio, Disney, Pokémon, Care Bears, We Bare Bears. Some of the stores also offer bento boxes and refreshments too. It’s on par with an adult version of a day out in Selfridges. If you want to find your inner child then you need to visit one of the stores. The prices of most things are well within a pocket money allowance so the adults are not going to need a second credit card. It’s also a perfect place to spend birthdays and gift money.

Founded in 2013 by Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu, the brand is widely recognized for its minimalist, Japanese-style aesthetic, sleek store layouts, and lucrative character licensing partnerships
