The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Movie Collection is made up of all three of the hugely successful films. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are Leonardo, Michealangelo, Dontatello and Raphael along with their friend, mentor and sensei, a giant rat, Splinter.

The 15 year old, pizza loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Splinter live in the sewers of New York. While still babies in the sewer they were exposed to a radioactive ooze with mutated them into talking, human sized turtles and with taught how to fight and become ninjas by Splinter who had also been exposed to the same ooze.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I: The Original Movie – After a massive surge in crime by a criminal gang in New York City that steal anything and everything the turtles after twice rescuing TV reporter April O’Neil they join forces to put a stop to the gang lead by the very evil and mysterious Shredder.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of The Ooze – After defeating Shredder in the first film he is now back, bigger and badder than before and looking for revenge. After getting his hands on the last canister of the ooze that created the turtles he is planning to create his own mutant army. The turtles along with their new friend Keno, a pizza delivery boy, must get the ooze to stop Shredder and his mutants Rahzar and Tokka.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles in Time – When April is transported back in time 400 years to 1603 Japan the turtles have to go back and rescue her. They have 4 days to defeat an evil emperor and his warriors, rescue April and find a way to return home.

Overall, these are 3 easy, fun and enjoyable films to watch. The heroes in a half shell and their Turtle Power used to be very popular and are on a comeback and this box set is great viewing for anyone that remembers them the first time around and kids just getting to know them. While the appearance of 4 man sized turtles and a rat in New York may seem a rather silly story it works very well, especially as we have all heard the stories of alligators and other animals supposedly living in the sewers, and is great escapism for all viewers. Older viewers will find it nostalgic while the younger viewers will love the giant turtles and rat beating the baddies with their weapons and fight scenes, good always defeats evil.

This box set as the turtles would say is Cowabunga!
