When I received the De-shed Me Shampoo fro Dogs, the first thing I did was open it to smell; it smelt absolutely lovely, very sweet! I couldn’t wait to try it on my dog!
The product was very thick, a little like conditioner, it didn’t lather up as much as I thought it would for a shampoo, but it did remove the dirt and greasiness from my dog’s fur. I used about half of the product on my medium sized Springer Spaniel, this did include washing her twice with it, thinking that the product may lather the second time around after washing the dirt off first. The product did seem to bring a lot of the fur away, and the day after, she didn’t seem to shed as much hair as usual either.
I didn’t get chance to use the product twice, as recommended by the manufacturer, and I would find it difficult to bathe my dog twice a week. Though after using just once, I did see results, the fur was very shiny and new looking, which I haven’t had from any other product I’ve used, and she also looked and felt very fluffy. I can imagine if I had used twice a week as recommended I would see a much bigger difference.
I personally wouldn’t use the product often, as finding the time to bathe my dog twice a week would be difficult, though I can see myself using once every month or two!
I would definitely recommend it.
