T.U.K Fuzzy Fur Kitty Slippers Review

Reviewed by Louise Totton
Slippers for Christmas? No way – that’s got to be one of the least imaginative and most predictable Christmas presents for that special female in your life, ever. Hasn’t it? Well, I’d have said so, up until last week, when I received my pair of T.U.K Kitty slippers in the post to review. Now, not only am I an absolute convert, it seems my daughter is too, as she’s currently wearing them, and I have to fight for them when I want them back!
T.U.K Kitty slippers are a Vegan, fuzzy faux fur mule slipper, available in either black or baby pink and featuring T.U.K’s iconic kitty face design. We went for the black ones, and they are quite stunning, featuring a cat’s face on the front, sticky-up ears and one of the softest and most comfortable footbeds I think I have ever had the pleasure of wearing!

The slippers are available in three dual-sized sizing options: small (3-4), medium (5-6) and large (7-8), so they will be a size to suit most women. I have pretty big feet and am usually a size 7.5, so I ordered the large. They do come up slightly small and only just fit me at a 7.5, so I’m not sure how well a genuine size 8 person would fare with them, but slippers like this do seem to expand slightly with wear, so they may be ok.
They are quite possibly the softest and most comfy slippers I have ever worn – they keep my feet toasty warm and really are like walking on a cloud. The sole on them isn’t too soft, though, and they do feel supportive and have some grip, which is great if you have a tiled kitchen floor like I do! I tend to go downstairs in the morning to make my coffee in my socks, which can be rather slippery, but no such issues with these – I haven’t slipped in them once!

Of course, as well as the comfort and the Vegan guarantee (these are PETA approved), one of the reasons you’re probably going to buy them is how incredibly cute they are. And they are! They look fantastic, even for someone like me who isn’t a huge fan of felines, and my ten-year-old daughter is utterly besotted with them and keeps pinching them from next to my bed! Because they look so quirky and fabulous, they make a superb Christmas present – even if like me you don’t tend to buy slippers for Christmas gifts. They look brilliant, are top-notch quality and are just lovely!
I don’t hesitate to rate these at 5/5, and can wholeheartedly recommend them, either as a Christmas gift or even as just a little treat to yourself! At £15, I think they are a real bargain and are genuinely worth it.
