What a lovely gift idea this would be for an aunty, friend, gran in fact anyone who loves tea and scones.
The Cornish Tea Hamper was beautifully packaged in a lovely little wicket basket… great to reuse afterwards to keep your knickknacks in too!
Within the hamper there were 4 scones, 2 sachets of real Cornish tea, and mini pots of clotted cream (these arrived in a sealed vacuum ice pack, great idea as it travelled well and arrived still very cold), and of course a gorgeous fairly large jar of strawberry preserve which was delicious There was a little note inside telling you when the cream teas were best eaten before and even after travelling there was still plenty of time left to enjoy your Cornish cream tea.
I shared my clotted cream tea with my mum, we both thoroughly enjoyed them and both of us felt they tasted as fresh as the day they were made, delicious!! I love a good strong tea and this Cornish tea did not disappoint… very good.
I enjoyed this delightful basket of goodies and it was something I think a lot of people would be delighted to receive through the post as a gift… there was plenty preserve and clotted cream for all 4 scones but only 2 bags of tea…. I like my tea strong but I suppose the 2 could stretch for 4 people.
A great gift idea, definitely something I would purchase for a friend or relative!
