Red Letter Days I Love You Gift Hamper Review

With Valentine’s Day just over and Mother’s Day around the corner, I have been inundated with beautiful gift ideas popping up on my social media. Even trawling on my online shops, I was captured by all the inventive ideas that are available to order for your loved ones. Also, with the shops closed due to this pandemic that we find ourselves in and another lockdown, we are left with the only option of searching for our perfect gifts online.

Online stores such as Red Letter Days are the perfect for all of your gift needs. They offer gift boxes, to experience days, to hampers, to gift vouchers and much more. Their website is super easy to navigate and even offers themed gifts to suit the time of the year. So for example at the moment, the top of the home bar there is a link for all the Mother’s Day gifts. I found this fantastic and enjoyed looking at what gifts were available to purchase. Even getting my hopes up about being able to go out on experience days such as afternoon teas or spa days sometime soon.

I am a lover of anything that will make my mum or mother in law smile on Mother’s Day and was super happy when I was chosen the review the Red Letter Days I Love You Gift Hamper. The luxurious hamper arrived carefully packages in a beautiful red canvas tote bag with red tissue paper. All of the exterior packaging was recyclable.

Last year, I spent my Mother’s Day in lockdown and unfortunately did not receive a gift from my children due to my husband not being able to get out to purchase anything. I did receive special handmade cards from them. I therefore decided that this treat would be mine to devour rather than gifting to my mother in law or mother.

I was really impressed with the contents of the hamper, and being a chocolate lover, I was completely satisfied with the amount of chocolate in the gift. I decided to have a treat nice off from my lifelong diet, run myself a bubble bath with candles and enjoy the contents of the box to myself (is that selfish?). My kids would have loved to help me out but I think I deserve a treat like this once in a while. I started off with the Prosecco, followed by the popcorn and truffles. I then felt a little guilty so I shouted my two children and let them have a chocolate lolly each. They were overjoyed and said that they tasted delicious. The Haribo hearts were then shared out between us. My husband unfortunately, didn’t get a look in.

I was extremely impressed with this gift hamper and found that it was a beautiful and thoughtful thing to purchase someone special to you, to express that you love them. I really like that it came with the little red bag. This can be reused and I will be taking my lunches in it for work. Reusable and recycleable products are a big win for me. At a cost of £34.99 it’s an excellent price for such a tasteful gift and I would definitely recommend it for your loved ones.
