The VTech Switch & Go Dino is a brilliant toy from Vtech aimed at 3 years and over. It transforms from a car into a winged Pteranodon. It is a vibrant red colour (other colours/styles available) with an animated LCD screen. It has over 50 sounds and voice phrases (which for parents can be a little annoying but children seem to love). By pressing the talk button you get to hear fun facts about dinosaurs.
The toy is sturdy and robust but also educational as you would expect from VTech. It is part of a series of VTech toys. The battery compartment is not accessible to little fingers. The switching function is very easy for little hands to manage. It is definitely built to withstand rugged play.
I can see this toy being part of our household for many years to come. Whether the boys get a chance of playing with it is another matter as my step daughter seems to have claimed it.
