The Star Wars Classic 2025 Calendar and Diary Gift Box Set is very well presented in a lovely gift box, it would be a lovely gift. The quality of the calendar and diary are really good, as I would expect from a Danilo production having had them before, the pen is ok, black ink, but not as smooth a ‘writer’ as I normally like. It does, however, have ‘Star Wars’ on the side and is a nice rich navy-blue colour with a pleasant feel when holding it.
The diary, which has a striking Star Wars scene depicted on the front, it has a Star Wars picture at the beginning of each month, these are obviously all-Star Wars characters. They include: R2-D2, C-3PO, Luke Skywalker, A Stormtrooper, Chewbacca, Yoda, Hans Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Lando Calrissian, Darth Vader, Princess Leia Organa, Din Djarin and Emperor Palpatine. Also repeated at the beginning of each month is a page with three titles: Notes, Goals and birthdays, there is ample space beneath each title for you fill in.
There is a subtle pattern across all the pages and the very recognisable ‘STAR WARS’ at the bottom of each week, each week is displayed across two pages and is very clear and concise with the days of the week in black block capitals with the date/number before each day, Saturday and Sunday are in blue therefore differentiating between them and making them stand out.
On the third page 2025 is displayed showing each week and weekend in blue, the months are in capitals and are also in blue. The following page shows 2026 in the same format thus giving you the opportunity to check different days/dates at a glance and well in advance. There is also a 2025 ‘Notable Dates’ page and a 2025 ‘Planner’ page. These could be useful for a school age child to plan ahead, or an adult, either for work dates or personal dates (or a mixture of both!) At the back of the diary there is also a 2026 planner, again giving you the opportunity to plan well ahead.
Further into the diary there are also two pages with twelve spaces to enable you to record information you may need for friends, family or work colleagues, i.e. name, address, email address, telephone number and mobile number, I think it is helpful to have them all in one place. The last four pages are lined and titled ‘Notes’, these could be handy for anything you may need to remember throughout the year.
The calendar has an eye-catching action picture on the front showing a number of Star Wars characters in combat poses, each month is shown on one page with the same ‘prints’ as the ones in the diary as listed above. These are really clear and precise in their details showing each character distinctly. There is space for notes on each page, which is a good size, and an adequate square for each day/date. All the months are displayed from Monday to Sunday which makes it easy to follow, again it is very clear and precise showing an abbreviation for each day i.e. MON for Monday etc, this is in black, and the weekend (days and dates) are in blue. There is a poster in the middle, which is a lovely addition, showing other Star Wars characters that do not appear in either the diary or the calendar.
The calendar and diary link really well together and would make an excellent present, not only for the ‘Star Wars’ fan but also for those who enjoyed the iconic film series or even those who like something eye catching on their wall.
