Last night we went to see Sean Hughes in his Life Becomes Noises Tour.
This is a comedy show put together by Sean Hughes following the loss of father to cancer, this does sound quite daunting (especially at the beginning when he welcomes you & tells you the next few hours will be about death) but you really have to go see it for yourself – I was crying with laughter at some points, it is ABSOLUTE COMEDY GENIUS.
He has cleverly managed to put a total flip on this subject and make it into a brilliant comedy show but at the same time has managed to get through to the audience some very serious points/issues surrounding the subject.
He involved individuals from the audience and referred/spoke to them throughout the show to add even more comedy.
I would love to go see him again, if he has the ability to perform such a brilliant comedy about death then I can’t wait to see what he can do with other subjects.
