Lighthouse, Poole you’re in for a treat on the evening of 14th June 2025, when Rob Lamberti Presents Perfectly George, for one night only as part of his national tour. In this dynamic show that tactfully and appropriately celebrates the career of one of the most gifted performers of a generation.
The show features the incredible voice of Rob Lamberti, who found fame when he appeared as the late, great George Michael on Stars In Their Eyes back in 1994. Not only does Rob sound incredibly like George, but his resemblance is so striking that when he appeared as him on Stars in Their Eyes, the programme’s make-up department had to ‘tone down’ his natural appearance before the actual transformation took place, so as not to give away who he’d be impersonating! I’ve been lucky enough to see Rob Lamberti perform live before and he is phenomenal.
George Michael is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, with a huge back catalogue of hits. Spanning from his time in Wham! through to the diverse eras of George’s hugely successful solo career, Rob Lamberti will showcase a selection of his vast repertoire of songs, that made him such an icon including the timeless classics such as ‘Faith’, ‘I’m Your Man’, ‘Club Tropicana’, ‘Careless Whisper’ and many, many more.
