RapidGlam Eyelash Enhancing Mascserum Review

I was really chuffed to be chosen to review the RapidGlam Lash Enhancing Mascserum, as a mum of 2 young children, I very rarely have time or money to spend on making myself feel a bit more glamorous, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to make an effort!

The Mascserum arrived within a couple of days and was really well packaged in an outer cardboard box and arrived in pristine condition. The product itself was in an attractively packaged outer cardboard sleeve and inside the mascserum tube was secured in place to stop it wobbling around. The Mascserum tube is an attractive metallic tube and looked like a premium brand.

The packaging describes the product as the World’s first Serum + Mascara + Primer. It is infused with RapidLash enhancing serum, which boasts long-term enhancing benefits, lash-loving ingredients, all-day conditioning, helps to curl lashes and promotes healthy, longer-looking lashes. With all this in mind, I was keen to get stuck in and have a go with it!

When I applied my make-up, I used the product in place of my usual mascara and I was really impressed with the first result. You literally need to load the product onto the mascara wand and apply it as you would any other mascara (from the base of the lashes and glide up towards the tips of the lashes). My eyelashes looked great straight away – each lash looked individually-defined and had good coverage, with one application. The instructions advise to apply as many coats as desired, but I found 1 coat to be ample coverage. The colour of the Mascserum is described as the blackest black pigment and as far as I can tell, this is the only colour the product is available in.

At the time of my review, I have been using it for 5 days straight and I can honestly say that each day that I have applied it, my lashes have looked great, with zero clumping, as is often the case after a couple of weeks with my normal brand. What’s more, the product lasts all day on my lashes and still looks just as good after a full day’s wear, without any flaking, which is something I’ve experienced in the past.

RapidGlam is a product from the makers of RapidLash (Eyelash Enhancing Serum) and uses the unique Hexatein 7 Complex (Blend of Peptides & Amino Acids, Panthenol, Biotin, Pumpkin Seed Extract, Kaolin and Fibre.) Each ingredient gives the complex unique properties, such as protecting the lashes against breakage, enhancing the look of your lashes and creating longer-looking lashes. I wondered how the product might fare at the end of the day, when it came to removing it; I have experienced no issues with getting the product off, with my normal eye make-up remover and it has come off really easily, without the need for any extra wiping, which is great.

Although I’ve been using the product for a little under 1 week and have been impressed with what I’ve seen so far, the packaging suggests that you should expect to see healthy, longer-looking lashes in as little as six weeks, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how they look in a few more weeks time.

The RRP is £32, but the product is currently on sale at Look Fantastic for £25.60 (with a bonus for free delivery if you spend over £25). This is definitely more than I would expect to pay for a mascara, however, as the packaging states, this is more than just a run of the mill mascara and appears to have additional benefits, over and above a standard mascara. However, for the price and to feel that I have value for money I would definitely want to see the results they allude to! From what I’ve seen so far, I would recommend the product as a perfect Valentine’s gift or birthday gift for the special lady in your life.
