Mother’s Day Tea with ProCook Review

Reviewed by Laura S

Mother’s Day is something that happens every year and really shouldn’t be a problem as we are buying a gift for the person we probably know the best. But every year it just gets harder as ours mums usually have everything they want, so coming up with a gift she will enjoy can be quite challenging. So what about some different than the old go to stable options like chocolates, flowers or a meal out and get something that she can enjoy when she finally sits down to relax – a teapot and mugs?

ProCook kindly sent me some Stoneware Mugs and a Stainless Steel Teapot to try out.

ProCook Malmo Dove Grey Stoneware Mug

The ProCook Malmo Dove Grey Stainless Stoneware Mugs (£7 each) are an excellent size if you like a big mug of drink, holding a decent amount of liquid. The liquid stays warm for a good length of time.

The mugs are excellent quality and look very expensive.

The handles are large which make the mugs easy to hold and they are a good weight so sit nicely on a surface.

Each mug is a lovely pale grey colour with a simple dimple effect around the bottom third of the mug. Each mug is handmade/finished and unique. With no two mugs looking the same. The mugs look very stylish and I have received a lot of compliments.

The mugs are suitable for the dishwashers, microwave and oven safe to 260C.

The mugs look great alongside the ProCook stainless steel 500ml teapot. They would make a lovely Mother’s Day gift.

I have previously bought expensive branded mugs which were not as good in quality or as stylish as these mugs. These mugs are excellent value and I will be buying more.

Overall, I give these mugs 5/5

ProCook Stainless Steel Teapot

The ProCook Stainless Teapot (£16) is made of lovely shiny stainless steel and holds 500ml.

The teapot has a removable basket in the middle to hold your leaves or other products. I mainly use it for mint leaves.

The teapot makes approximately 1.5 mugs of tea.

The teapot was very easy to use by inserting the basket in the middle with chosen leaves and then adding the hot water. Once the tea is brewed to your tasting the basket can be removed. I really liked this feature. The pot kept the tea nice and warm for a good length of time.

I did find the teapot very hot to touch on the outside as to be expected and the handle wasn’t hot to touch which was good.

The teapot was easy to clean and dishwasher safe which is a bonus.

The teapot looks very stylish and matches perfectly with the Malmo dove grey mugs. They would make a lovely Mother’s Day gift.

Overall this teapot is excellent value, easy to use and stylish. I give it 5/5

If your mum likes to sit and relax with a nice hot cup of tea, then you can’t go wrong the Procook teapot and mugs. All she needs to go with them is me with her to enjoy a cuppa and a good old natter, could Mother’s Day be any better?

Rating: 5/5
