Well If everyone is listening then they would have heard the most fantastic show I have ever seen; Michael Ball live at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow as part of his 2015 tour.

I have grown up listening to Michael Ball and have even sung “Love Changes Everything” as part of my primary school choir. This man is so easy to listen to and as my Mum said she could listen to him recite the phone book. Not only was his voice so powerful and perfect but he’s also very easy on the eye and from where we sat in this huge gorgeous venue (known locally as the Armadillo because of its shape) we could also see the twinkle in his eyes.

The band appeared out on stage first to a lovely round of applause from the full audience, followed closely by 3 amazing backing singers, Adrian Hansel, Alice Fearn and Sandra Marvin who would show off their solo talents later in the show.

The music started and people rose to their feet to greet Michael as he appeared on stage singing his version of Avicci’s Wake me up. From that moment my foot was tapping and I had a huge smile on my face and it never left me all night.

From classic songs like Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera and his Eurovision song One Step Out of Time to recent hits like Katy Perry’s Roar and Jason Mraz’s Won’t Give Up, He had the full arena captivated and waiting for his next amazing song.

It was lovely to see Sandra and Adrian showing off their powerful voices by singing the duet A Whole New World from Aladdin, and Michael singing Falling Slowly from Once with Alice. Absolutely breathtaking.

His interaction with the audience and how truly humble he was thanking the audience for their applause was truly touching and very emotional to watch. After almost 30 years on stage I would say his voice is still very strong and so very powerful. With his added charm and wonderful stage presence I would highly recommend going to see Michael in concert. I know I will be on the lookout for his next tour. What was also wonderful was that there were fans there from all over the world who you could see chatting and laughing away before the show started. It was so nice to see how much they love and respect this wonderful man for what is a fantastic gift of joy he brings to so many.

My mum and I arrived at the Clyde Auditorium via train and a lovely walk over the bridge as we decided not to take the car. There is parking available for all 3 venues but as it was a nice night we thought the walk would be nice. We loved every minute of his performance and wished the night could have went on forever. I will personally remember this night for the rest of my life.

A definite 5 out of 5 from us and well done Michael on a fantastic performance. We had a Ball!
