Guy Fawkes night is one of the highlights of the Autumn calendar and Bournemouth Fireworks offer not one, not two but three fireworks displays. This display is Bournemouth’s biggest and best-loved family fireworks party whilst providing free entertainment from the region’s top professional fire performers, a Foo Fighters tribute band – which I’m very excited about and street food stalls galore.

I’m looking forward to being there for the whole evening as it sounds like there’s a lot to keep the kids entertained. A giant funfair, free have-a-go sports on the Littledown Leisure Centre sports pitches and also a free Indoor Family Zone with bouncy castles and the Revolution Cheerleading Academy. There’s so much on offer and it’s great that a lot of this will be included in the entry price.

Event director Ben Dyas says, “Bournemouth Fireworks is much more than a fireworks show, it’s a brilliant family night out that has been part of Bournemouth’s Bonfire Night celebrations for more than 25 years.”

Bournemouth Fireworks is the only local event with three displays, at 7pm, 8pm and the famous White Knuckle at 9pm. The early show is a family favourite preceded by breathtaking displays from the fire performers, as is the 8pm show. It’s the busiest and most popular of the three displays and organisers have promised a special surprise that’s being kept under wraps until the night.

There are still tickets available with adults starting at £12 and children £8, with under 3s going free. Gates open at 5pm.
