Hape Creative Play Toys Review

I absolutely love Hape toys and am lucky enough to have several of them. I snapped up the opportunity of reviewing three of their creative play products.  

The parcel arrived in good time and in perfect condition. The designs on the boxes looked amazing. All of the toys are made from quality wood and are suitable for age 3+.

Hape Fresh Fruit

The Hape Fresh Fruit set consists of 6 different fruits and a play knife. We had great fun using the play knife to cut up the different fruits. This toy is great for promoting motor skills as well as imaginative play.  We had great fun discussing what the various fruits were and asking each other which we would like to eat. We even had a discussion about the importance of eating plenty of fruit for a healthy lifestyle.

This is a great toy for imaginative play as well as teaching about the importance of eating 5 a day.

Hape Garden Vegetables

Like the Fresh Fruit, the Hape Garden Vegetables did not stay in the box very long. The set consists of 6 different vegetables and a play knife. We had hours of fun chopping up the vegetables, putting them together again ready to chop them up again. We had run role playing, asking each other for certain vegetables and talked about the importance of eating plenty of vegetables. 

Hape Tea Set for Two

Whilst I really like all 3 items we were sent, the Hape Tea Set for Two is my favourite. It consists of a tea pot, tea bag, tray, 2 cups and saucers, milk jug and sugar pot. We all enjoyed making each other cups of tea and finishing it off with the perfect amount of milk and sugar. My little boys were so chatty and their faces lit up. We even used the tray to put the chopped fruit and vegetables on. 

We had hours of fun with these Hape toys and I have no doubt that we will have hours and hours more in the weeks and months to come. They are all great for imaginative play and helping to develop social skills as well as helping to educate about the benefits of fruit and veg as well as eating a healthy and balanced diet.

They are all well made using materials that are environmentally responsible.
