Fairfields Farm Crisps
Reviewed by David Savage
I recently received 3 new different flavours of Fairfields Farm Crisps for review:
Butter & Mint
Sea Salt & Black Pepper
The crisps themselves are very thick and crispy with a good texture with my favourite being the Sea Salt & Black Pepper – you can really taste the pepper. The No Salt were just that, a thick potato crisp, but while there was no flavouring they were still very good. The Butter & Mint flavour I really did not like as they tasted too buttery and I could taste no mint. As I am fussy about my food I gave the Butter & Mint flavour to 2 other people to try who both liked them but both said they could taste very little mint.
Farmfields Farm Crisps grow the potatoes, hand select them and cook them on their farm in the Colne Valley. Each 40g pack is made from British potatoes, contain no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians and coeliacs, gluten free and are a non GM product.
Overall, Fairfields Farm Crisps are a good quality natural product. The crisps are nice and thick, have a nice texture and are very crunchy all of which lets you enjoy the flavour. There are other flavours available which I am now going to try.
