In an attempt to gain customers more akin to Pizza Express have tried a bit of a twist with the gourmet range. There are four to choose from in the range, Firenze, Florentine, Quattro Formaggio, and Rustica. They aren't your standard takeaway style, much more continental but do they work?
I tried the Rustica option, which is thin based (they are all thin), has a lovely tomato and garlic sauce, plenty of chicken pieces and large bacon rashers, matched up with spinach and baby plum tomatoes.
It was delicious and a welcome change to the usual options we have been used to for years but these are more expensive than the regular menu pizzas.
Overall I enjoyed my pizza immensely, it was a pleasant change to my standard meat based option I always choose. Good quality pizza.
